What a fantastic weekend at the Canada Salsa Congress in TO!! Great shows!!! We received grrrreat compliments from other peers!!!! It was worth practicing 4-6 hours a week over the past few months!!

If you’d like to see our routine along with a few shows, jot down on your calendar for OCTOBER 29TH. Our Halloween SalsaFanatics party. We are giving prizes to the 3 best costumes!!!…and plus it’s always fun to dress up!!! Intermediate Workshop is from 7pm to 8pm (please register 260-7883). Dancing starts at 8pm. ($7)

We are also holding a Students Outing this Saturday at Club Rouge (51 William St.) from 9:30pm till 1am, Friday nights’ Lucky Lounge is cancelled, the organizer have decided to stop Salsa night on fridays (not enough support). Hope to see a lot of you there!!!

Next 4 week workshop on Mondays is “Ladies styling with a partner”. Need a minimum of 8 women, You must bring a partner. Your partner must know the lead of basics, crossbody lead, and right turn. They will not be charge, please tell them that they will not learn any moves and must follow our rules. This is geared for women to drill on some arm style and a bit of footwork while dancing with a partner. Starts October 24 to Novemeber 21 (no class on Halloween night) $25. There is a new salsa club in Gatineau called Le Forum with a live band playing from Thursday to Saturday starting at 10:00 p.m. The address is 18, La Baie Street in Gatineau corner rue Jacques-Cartier. I guess someone should confirm this.
