SUBJECT: Canadian Academy of Latin Dance opens to satisfy the increasing demand for Salsa.
Ottawa, ON: Salsa dance enthusiasts now have only one number to call. The Canadian Academy of Latin Dance (CALD) is a one-stop shop for Salsa enthusiasts. CALD is a consortium of the best Salsa Dance Schools under one roof offering Salsa classes from beginner to advanced. Other classes include Merengue, Cha Cha, Bachata and Rueda.
CALD was created to facilitate dance school selection while offering easy access to professional Salsa dance instructors. Over 50% of CALD instructors danced for Salsa Team Canada where they represented the country this past July in Puerto Rico.
“There is currently no other dance school in the city that specialises in Salsa Dance” says Patricio Palacios, owner of CALD. “The CALD represents some of the best salsa dance instructors from Ottawa and Montreal.”

Apparently, Caliente will be closed for about a month and a half July. During this time, there will be some renovations to the bar. Don't know if the dance classes will continue to be held there during this time; stay tune...
